Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Nebraska (BCBSNE) recently earned first place for health insurance in Best of Omaha 2021, an annual contest held by Omaha Magazine.
The public determines Best of Omaha winners by casting votes for its favorite local businesses using an online ballot. Categories range from the best food trucks to dance studios and window washers, providing an opportunity for Omaha’s diverse business community to receive recognition.
“We’re thrilled to be voted the number one choice for health insurance,” Malorie Maddox, BCBSNE’s chief marketing, communications and strategy officer, said. “BCBSNE exists to be there for Nebraskans in moments of joy and times of hardship. We love our community and are thankful to earn their trust and votes.”
BCBSNE is a longstanding Best of Omaha winner in the Life/Health Insurance category. Health Insurance is a brand new category for 2021; BCBSNE is the first-time, first-place winner. In 2020, BCBSNE also won a Best of B2B award for Health Insurance and first place in the Omaha’s Choice Awards for Best Health Insurance Provider.
