Skin cancer rates in BCBSNE members are decreasing, bucking national trend

Skin cancer is diagnosed at a much lower level in Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Nebraska members than people living in other parts of the country.  From 2014 to 2017, our members had a 0.7 percent rate of diagnosed skin cancer.   Nebraska men have a higher rate of skin cancer than women.  Costs
