BCBSNE is pleased to announce that Malorie Maddox will be joining our organization as vice president of communications.
“We’re excited to welcome Malorie to our team,” said Steve Grandfield, president and chief executive officer-elect. “Her background in news media and her proven communication skills will be tremendous assets in our internal and external communication efforts.”
Maddox has been a co-anchor at WOWT for the last 13 years.
“I am honored so many people let me share their stories, and the opportunity I’ve had to be involved in our community,” Maddox said. “Now it’s time to say goodbye to that role.”
Maddox is heavily involved in supporting local charities and community organizations, which, Grandfield added, “will help further Blue Cross’ commitment to be an active partner in the communities we serve.”
She will officially join BCBSNE on Monday, March 26.
