New remote-work positions created in 2020 benefit BCBSNE and employees alike

Sarah Van Buskirk said she didn’t know losing her old customer service position would be a blessing. Living in Humphrey, Nebraska, a town of roughly 800, most job opportunities available to her were located in Norfolk and Columbus, both about 25 miles away. Her new employer as of August, however, is even further from home.

BCBSNE acts on pledge to make meaningful change in fighting racial injustice

In June, Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Nebraska (BCBSNE), along with the rest of the 36 Blue Cross and Blue Shield companies, joined the Blue Cross and Blue Shield Association in pledging to make meaningful change in fighting racial injustice. BCBSNE is acting on its pledge by hosting diversity and inclusion trainings for employees.
