Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Nebraska members who are affected by the recent flooding or severe winter weather may fill their covered prescriptions early, if necessary, at any in-network pharmacy. To locate an in-network pharmacy, members should call the Member Services number on the back of their member ID card. If the card is lost, call 888-592-8961.
Our nurses are making calls to offer assistance to our members who live in the impacted areas and are participants in our care management programs.
We understand that the normal processes for precertification and preauthorization may be interrupted in certain areas in Nebraska at this time. If members experience issues with either, they should call 800-247-1103 for help.
