Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Nebraska (BCBSNE) is proud to support 23 nonprofits across the state through its Health of Nebraska sponsorship. This sponsorship uplifts organizations that provide resources, programs and services to Nebraskans impacted by medical diagnoses.
All sponsorship recipients are part of Combined Health Agencies Drive (CHAD), an organization that has supported Nebraska’s premier health agencies since 1972.
“Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Nebraska believes in lifting up organizations that make a measurable difference for Nebraskans, and our partnership with CHAD reflects that commitment,” said Jay Warren-Teamer, community and strategic engagement leader at BCBSNE. “We’re honored to support agencies that provide vital care and resources to individuals and families across the state.”
CHAD first received BCBSNE’s Health of Nebraska sponsorship in 2020. In 2026, the sponsorship will support the following 23 member agencies: American Foundation for Suicide Prevention; ALS Association; American Lung Association; Angels Among Us; Arthritis Foundation; Autism Action Partnership; Blood Cancer United; Brain Injury Association; Breakthrough T1D; CHAD; Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation; Cystic Fibrosis Foundation; Epilepsy Foundation; Heart Heroes; March of Dimes; National Multiple Sclerosis Society; Nebraska AIDS Project; National Bleeding Disorders Foundation; Nebraska Health Care Foundation; Nebraska Kidney Association; Susan G. Komen; Team Jack Foundation; and United Cerebral Palsy of Nebraska.
This sponsorship will directly support the missions of each agency and strengthen the existing collaboration, fundraising and education efforts of CHAD.
“Our partnership with Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Nebraska is rooted in a shared belief that everyone deserves access to quality care and support,” said Michelle Grossman, president and CEO of CHAD. “Their ongoing investment helps our member agencies meet people where they are—providing critical resources, hope and stability to those navigating chronic health conditions across our state.”
